This is an a great song by Kate Nash titled Foundations. Its a song that we used to have on our playlists a few years ago and Michelle, who has the best memory ever, thought it would be appropriate for tonight’s Foundations show!
This week’s song is Happy by Pharrell Williams! Lisa thought it was appropriate considering one of the “side effects” of exercise is feeling, well, happy!
This week’s song is Bad Girls by M.I.A. We first heard it in the trailer for the movie The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. They both totally kick butt in the movie and this song helps us kill it in our workouts!

Ali in the Jungle is an awesome song by The Hours. This song is very motivating, its first line being “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish…” is enough to get you hooked and through your training or any competition!
This week’s song from the “Hit List” is a great song to get you going for an intense workout! The title “Under Control” ties into our theme for this week, as it’s important to be in control of your nutritional choices in order to see results and feel good. We could see this song pumping you up for a run, sprint, Tabata or a Spinning routine! We hope it gets you going the way it does for us!
This week’s hit list song is compliments of our special guest, Qinetic. This song is a great song to zone out and focus on conquering your workout, the length makes it the perfect song to accompany a quick WOD or Tabata workout. Founder, Ben Hart, noted that he feels a strong connection to the song, so it motivates him to push himself during a tough workout. It’s all about finding a song you can connect with and using it to help you achieve your goals, no matter how big or small! We hope you enjoy this week’s pick, Runaway by Kanye West!
